1. What this site is
The Money Shot is an independent, community-run stats and history site for a sim racing money scene. It exists for informational and entertainment purposes only.
2. Where our data comes from
We do not receive official figures from anyone. Race results, payouts, and pot amounts are compiled by us, by hand, from information that promoters and members post publicly — including community Discord servers — and from races that members submit through the site. As a result, the data may be estimated, rounded, incomplete, out of date, wrong at the original source, or mis-entered by us. We make no guarantee that any figure is accurate or complete.
3. Ratings and rankings are our own calculations
Driver ratings, Power Rankings, records, and other statistics are computed by us from the reported data using our own methods. They are our estimates and opinions — not official results, standings, or statements of fact about any person — and they are only as reliable as the underlying data.
4. Provided "as is"
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Not advice
Nothing on the site is financial, betting, investment, or legal advice. Do not rely on it for any decision involving money.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Money Shot and its operators are not liable for any loss, damage, or decision arising from your use of, or reliance on, information on the site.
7. Member submissions
If you submit data, you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You grant us permission to publish, edit, correct, or remove it. We are not obligated to publish any submission and may modify or delete submissions at any time. You are responsible for what you submit.
8. Corrections
We aim to keep the data accurate and correct errors in good faith when we become aware of them. We can't guarantee any figure is correct or complete.
9. No affiliation
The Money Shot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by iRacing, any league, or any promoter named on the site. All league and promoter names are used for identification only and belong to their respective owners.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes may require you to re-accept them. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version.
